Emissions of Priority Compounds
Louisiana Operations met the company target on this critical 2005 EHS goal five years earlier than expected by reducing priority compounds by more than 75 percent since the baseline year of 1994.Reason for change: Regulatory mandated change to a new calculation methodology issued by EPA resulted in increased actual emissions being reported this year.
The UNOX flow was greater than 2 times last years flow with higher concentrations of Epichlorohydrin and Ethylene Glycol as compared to the previous year.
