2011 Opel Meriva, the second generation of the Opel Meriva, a new MPV will be making its official debut in March at the Geneva Motor Show! “Innovative, versatile and elegant: these are the words of the manufacturer, this new vehicle, with a new standard for automotive versatility with a wide range of innovative features to optimize the flexible use of space to describe.
2011 Opel Meriva has the vehicle of the rear-hinged rear doors new, called Flex Doors, which is a first volume of a manufacturer in the industry. This is really special about these doors is to be independent, open without the need for an overlap in the front hook. This is probably due to a conventional B-pillar, while the body provides good rigidity and protection against side impact. The Flex intake to 84 degrees, a big improvement as something that is the standard 68-70 degrees. The passenger benefit from the same 84-degree angle means that the new Meriva will be a very comfortable MPV.
2011 Opel Meriva uses a longer wheelbase, wider front and rear tracks to a better handling and more comfort.
The drive range offers cost effective and efficient turbo engines with a power range of 75 to 140 hp. A particularly economical ecoFLEX version will also be offered. The Opel Meriva offers a choice of 5, and 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
